With the first signs of cold weather! rain! and shorter days! I took out my stationary home trainer. It must be said that when you come out of 6 months without having cycled indoors on a stationary HT! getting back into it is laborious. No ELITE EMOTION feeling of power! efficiency! feeling of unnatural pedaling… In February 2012 I had invested in a Tacx Galaxia roller to build speed but also not to lose the notions of gestures/balance.
With the return I quickly realized that you feel more comfortable on it special lead and the sensations ELITE EMOTION are really close to the road. Problem: not enough resistance to do good quality series. Elite has been offering its Emotion with resistance for some time! I had already hesitated to invest for the winter of 2011/2012… but not knowing its level of resistance or the ease of pedaling on it! I fell back on the VORTEX + Galaxia pair.
